Soybean is a kind of low oil content oilseed compared with other oilseeds such as peanut, sesame, canola, etc. So usually we adopt pretreatment and solvent extraction way to process soybean and get soybean oil, which can reduce residue oil rate and increase oil productivity compared with pressing way.
1. Soybean oil pretreatment machine of soybean oil production line:
Soybean→cleaning→stones removal→magnetic selection→crushing→softening→flaking→drying→to solvent extraction
Soybean oil pretreatment workshop is the basic process of soybean oil processing machine, is mainly to remove impurities in soybean, regulate moisture and temperature of soybean, and break soybean into small particles to change soybean molecular structure etc., which is good for the following process in solvent extraction workshop. After soybean oil pretreatment & prepressing machine, we can get soybean cake. Soybean cake can go to the following solvent extraction workshop. Soybean cake also can be used for extracting protein.
2. Soybean oil solvent extraction plant flow diagram:

The soybean oil solvent extraction plant is part of soybean oil processing machine, which is designed to extract oil directly from pressed soybean cake. After soybean oil solvent extraction plant, the residual oil rate in soybean cake is less than 1%.
The pretreated soybean flakes are sent to the soybean solvent extraction plant. The plant uses a kind of solvent (normal hexane) to absorb the oil from soybean, and then the machines separate the solvent from soybean crude oil. The solvent is used for recycling and soybean crude oil is refined by oil refinery plant.
3. Soybean oil refinery plant flow diagram:
Crude soybean oil→degumming→deacidifaction→decolorization→deodorization→refined soybean oil.
Soybean oil refinery plant includes a series processing process such as degumming, neutralization, bleaching, deodorization, etc. In general there are two methods of soybean oil refining process, one is physical refining and the other is chemical refining. However, no matter what kinds of refining methods, they are all done with the help of various oil processing equipment and machinery. What’s more, soybean oil refining machine are used to refine almost all kinds of oil extracted from oil seeds like sunflower seeds, peanuts, sesame seeds, and soya bean seeds etc. After refining, we can get refined, bleached, deodorized oil. That is, first-grade soybean oil.
