The cottonseed oil production line process is: stripping → cleaning → magnetic separation → shelling → kernel separation → crushing and cooking→ pre-pressing → solvent extraction → refining → defatting and fractionation → mixing with cake

The pretreatment steps of cottonseed oil production line mainly include cleaning, shelling and crushing, cooking, and pressing. Cottonseed oil refinery plant can remove peptide-soluble impurities, free fatty acids, pigments, odors and other impurities in cottonseed oil, and improve the stability of cottonseed oil.

1. Cleaning: Use electromagnetic separator, vibrating screen, paraffin removal machine, glue remover. By removing impurities, oil loss can be reduced, improving oil production and the environment of the cottonseed oil processing plant.

2. Shelling and crushing: The toothed cracking roller is used to cut the cottonseed kernels into suitable uniform pieces, which can maintain a moderate block size so that the oil can be squeezed out. Cut the cracked cottonseed kernels into even smaller slices, with less powder and no oil leakage. Gently pinch them with your hands to obtain fine powder with a mesh size less than 1 mm.

3. Cooking: This process is to add steam to the crushed and flaky seed embryos, and then dry the seeds to remove more moisture.

4. Pressing or solvent extraction: Oil pressing is to press the cottonseed kernel into thin slices to increase the surface area of the oil, destroy its cell structure, shorten the oil path, and speed up the oil output. Solvent extraction is an oil processing method that selects an organic solvent (n-hexane) that can dissolve oil and brings it into contact with pretreated oilseed - soaking or spraying, so that get the crude cottonseed oil.

5. Refining: Crude oil contains residues and solid powder, so we must remove them before packaging. This requires crude oil refinery plant, and removing impurities such as colloids and free fatty acids through cottonseed oil refinery plant.
