The extraction oil-making process is one of the most widely used processes in soybean oil processing. Different from the traditional physical pressing process, the soybean oil extraction process is to soak the treated soybean embryo with an organic solvent, extract the oil in the embryo to form a mixed oil, and then separate and recover the solvent through evaporation, stripping, condensation and other processes in the extraction system to obtain extracted crude soybean oil.
The extraction process is widely used in the oil industry, and more than 80% of edible oil in my country is produced by this process. The extraction process includes direct extraction, pre-pressing extraction, etc. For oils with low oil content such as soybeans, the oil can be fully extracted by a single extraction process, which has a series of advantages such as high efficiency, large processing capacity and high oil yield.
The complete set of oil extraction equipment mainly consists of four parts: embryo extraction system, wet meal steam removal system, mixed oil evaporation system and solvent recovery system. The complete soybean oil extraction production line is divided into four parts: raw material pretreatment, oil extraction, crude oil refining, and finished oil filling. The extraction process is used to extract soybean oil. The main processing process can be divided into crushing and tableting, solvent soaking, mixed oil separation, solvent recovery and refining treatment.
Crushing and tableting: The oil needs to be pre-treated by cleaning, crushing, and embryo rolling in the soybean oil production line. The whole soybean is broken into small particles, and then pressed into embryo flakes or puffed so that the organic solvent can fully penetrate.
Solvent soaking: Use organic solvents such as n-hexane to contact with soybean embryo flakes, use the solvent to dissolve the oil in the embryo, and extract and dissolve the oil to form a mixed oil.
Mixed oil separation: The boiling point of the solvent and the oil in the mixed oil is different. The solvent is evaporated by heating and steam stripping, and the oil and solvent are separated to obtain the extracted crude oil.
Solvent recovery: The evaporated solvent is condensed and recovered for recycling.
Refining treatment: The extracted crude oil will contain a small amount of solvent residual oil, which needs to be further refined. The soybean oil refining process generally includes steps such as degumming, deacidification, and decolorization. Some varieties of edible oil will also add a dewaxing process to ensure the quality and hygiene of the edible oil.
The extraction process has been developed in my country for more than half a century and is now widely used in the edible oil processing industry. It is very common in soybean oil processing projects. The extraction process can not only obtain a higher oil yield, but also obtain high-quality soybean meal for extracting soybean protein or for food or feed processing, thereby improving the efficiency of the soybean oil mill. Its advantages include high oil yield, low processing cost, and high economic benefits.
